This started with a camera...
but it's always been about something deeper.
It's about helping women see themselves the way they've always deserved to.

Co-CREATOR-
tHE HEART BEHIND THE EXPERIENCE
For a long time this started as something personal for me.
I wanted to prove to myself that I could build something meaningful and follow through with it.
But the deeper I stepped into this work, the more I realized it wasn't just about me.
It's about the woman who walks in feeling nervous, unsure, and questioning herself...
and watching her leave lighter, smiling, and standing a little taller than when she arrived.
It's about that moment when she says,
"I knew I wanted to do this...
but I didn't realize how badly I needed this."
That moment sticks with me. Every time.
And somewhere along the way, my "why" grew even bigger.
I have three girls watching me.
I want them to see their mama go after something, stick with it when it's hard, and build something she's proud of.
I want them to grow up knowing they can do the same.
That they are capable. That they are strong. That they don't have to wait for permission to believe in themselves.
This isn't just about photos.
It's about confidence.
It's about growth.
It's about becoming the woman you were always meant to be.
And that's why this matters so much to me.

Why we do this together
Wild Ridge Boudoir was built together because we believe women deserve more than just photos.
They deserve an experience where they feel safe.
Accepted exactly as they are.
Not rushed.
Not uncomfortable.
Not something that feels staged or intimidating.
But something real.
A space where you can breathe, let your guard down, and just be yourself without feeling judged, pressured, or unsure.
Because we know what it feels like to question yourself.
To wonder if you're "enough."
And we also know what happens when that shifts.
Everything changes.
We are based in Whitefish, Montana, photographing women across the Flathead Valley and beyond.
Our goal is simple.
For you to walk in feeling a little nervous... and walk out feeling strong, confident, and proud of the woman you are.
Not for that moment.
But in a way that stays with you long after you leave.

photographer
I’ve been married to Steph for over 20 years.
And no matter how many times I told her she was beautiful, I could see it in her eyes. She
couldn’t see what I saw.
That’s hard to watch as a husband. It’s even harder as a dad of three daughters.
I’ve heard the things they say about themselves. About their bodies. About what they see in the
mirror. And no matter how many times I tell them they’re beautiful, the world keeps telling them
something different. That has always broken my heart.
A woman’s body is one of the most beautiful things in this world. But somewhere along the
way, women are taught to question that. To shrink. To doubt.
To carry weight that was never theirs to carry.
The first time I finally talked Steph into letting me photograph her, everything changed.
She looked at the back of my camera and for the first time, she couldn’t lie to herself anymore.
She had no choice but to see herself the way I’ve always seen her.
That moment changed me too.
I knew right then this was something I had to do.
There’s a moment in every shoot I wait for. But before I get there, something else happens.
We laugh. A lot. Music’s going, jokes are flying, Steph and I are right there with her the whole time. It stops feeling like a photoshoot and starts feeling like hanging out with a friend.
And somewhere in the middle of all that fun, the moment shows up. A woman who walked in
unsure, carrying years of telling herself she’s not enough, slowly starts to let it go.
Her eyes change. The story she’s been telling herself stops being true.
She finally sees the beautiful woman she’s been the whole time.
When it’s over, it doesn’t feel like a job. It feels like we did something powerful together.
Boudoir is so much more than sexy photos. It’s a moment every woman deserves.
Where the weight, the stress, the doubt, all of it gets to melt away.
Where she gets to feel safe. Confident. Free.
I want my wife to see what I see. I want my daughters to grow up knowing their worth.
And I want every woman who steps in front of my camera to walk away knowing she is beautiful,
exactly as she is.
That’s bigger than me.
I’m just blessed God gave me a camera and the eyes to see it.
